Announcing Harmony Ridge Lodge, a pleasing combination of Nature’s best and inspired human design.
Rediscover nature’s harmony at the South Yuba River and Tahoe National Forest. Harmony Ridge Lodge is located 160 miles from San Francisco, one hour from Sacramento, or Reno, and five miles from Grass Valley or Nevada City. The Lodge occupies 5 acres adjacent to Tahoe National Forest, in California’s Gold Country.
Outside the doors you’ll find decks for lounging and star gazing, a barbeque, and fenced acres of wooded gardens for strolling (great for safely exercising your dog). The Pioneer Trail, directly across from the lodge, is a local favorite for both cycling and horseback riding. Cross country and downhill skiing at Lake Tahoe, are a short drive. South Yuba River State Park swimming and fishing holes are nearby, and are dog-friendly. The vibrant cultural scenes of Nevada City and Grass Valley are a few miles down the hill.
Harmony Ridge Lodge has meeting rooms suitable for retreats, workshops or family events. We accommodate up to 50 guests for daytime gatherings or 25 guests for overnight, weekend, or extended retreats.
About the Innkeepers
Owners Jamie and Bob, along with their Golden Retriever, Monarch, have been coming up to California’s Gold Country for over ten years, and staying with their friends Peggy and Howard of the Swan Levine House, as a way to unwind from city life. It finally occurred to them it would be great to have a Gold Country place of their own – a place large enough for gatherings of friends and family. One thing led to another, and Harmony Ridge Lodge was created – a beautiful, welcoming get-away – for all who seek respite in nature, and their canine companions.
