Retreat Testimonials
We’ve been holding annual quilting retreats at Harmony Ridge Lodge for 5 years. The gorgeous mountain setting and lovely rooms make this place a real treasure. The Yoga Room serves as our sewing room, with space for 12 quilters. Our Spring retreats in April or May offer beautiful early blooms in the gorgeous landscaping, but sometimes we’ve had snow with tulips poking through, which is a special treat!
For retreats, workshops or meetings, Harmony Ridge Lodge has so many unique meeting spaces. From a conference room that opens out onto lush gardens and orchards, to an abundance of smaller breakout areas both indoors and in the stunning, peace-filled outdoor setting.
I have been holding a very special summer yoga, meditation, Yuba River hiking and swimming retreat at Harmony Ridge Lodge since 2007. The lodge provides great rooms, local farm, organic food and a terrific river hiking guide, Dave Skolak. I highly recommend this unique retreat venue to other teachers and groups.
Every January, our community starts the year with a ten-day silent meditation retreat at Harmony Ridge Lodge. The environment, outdoors and in, is rich, nurturing and perfect for self-reflection. The staff, always available though never intrusive, hold the space for our group beautifully.
The energy at the lodge is restful calming and restorative. It supports going into yourself and connecting to spirit. It also helps connect into nature and the earth. We love just sitting in the forest and listening to the wind in the trees. We feel so pampered by Debbie and her staff that we never want to go home. I highly recommend the lodge to any group.
Holding our annual team building retreat for faculty and staff at the lodge had a huge impact or previous locations. The sun-filled meeting room, outdoor breakout spaces, farm to table porch dinner and swimming at Scotts Flat Lake really charged and inspired our team.
Our professional women’s group held an annual retreat at Harmony Ridge. The gardens, and meeting were a truly unique environment for connecting, creating and planning We can’t wait to return in 2014.
Amazing that one sweet venue in the middle of the woods can check off all the boxes… elegant, refined, private, comfortable, homey and friendly. More than a lodge, it is truly an experience.
